The Love Walk: Can One Walk Really Make A Difference?
When was the last time you and your partner had a real conversation?
Without a phone buzzing, a work email coming through, or something else demanding your attention?
For some couples, it may have been longer than they realize.
Life gets busy. Work, family, responsibilities, and the constant distractions of our phones can slowly take over. Conversations become shorter. Things that need to be said get put off. Small misunderstandings are left unresolved.
But a strong relationship needs more than being in the same place. It needs attention. It needs honesty. It needs time. Sometimes, all it takes is putting everything else aside and simply walking, talking, and listening to each other.
The Bible asks: “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” — Amos 3:3
Walking together is about more than taking the same path. It is about understanding each other, being willing to listen and choosing to move forward together.
What is the Love Walk?
The Love Walk is an opportunity to step away from the usual routine and make time for what really matters: your relationships.
On Saturday 24th October, couples and singles are invited to spend a morning connecting, having meaningful conversations and enjoying time together in a relaxed outdoor setting.
For couples, it is a chance to put the distractions aside and focus on one another. Along the walk, specially prepared questions will encourage you to talk about things you may not normally get the chance to discuss; to listen, reflect, laugh, learn something new about each other, and strengthen your connection.
And if you're single, the Love Walk is for you too.
Being single doesn't mean you have to walk through life alone.
Inspired by the words, “It is not good that man should be alone” (Genesis 2:18), the day will include fun games and activities where you can meet new people, make friends, and connect in a comfortable way.
No pressure. No awkward expectations. Just an opportunity to step outside your usual routine and get to know people naturally.
Whether you're coming with your spouse, a friend, or on your own, the Love Walk is about making time for people, creating meaningful connections, and enjoying a morning you won't forget.
So, leave the busy schedule behind. Come with an open mind and take a walk that could lead to a better conversation, a stronger connection or even a new beginning.
