My Story

Before joining the Universal Church, I was short-tempered, a proud person, dismissive of authority, addicted to alcohol, kava, and cigarettes due to time spent with friends. I used to get into constant fights for any matter of reason and would get violent when someone provoked my family. I was also very stubborn, and I didn't accept anyone telling me what to do with my life. I rejected religion and resented church preaching.

My wife would persuade me to come to church, but I would only come to please her because, at the end of the day, when I would drink and smoke with my friends, my wife couldn't say anything. After all, I already came to church.

However, after several months, the messages resonated with me, leading me to earnestly seek God. I was a person filled with anger and violence, but I was also a person who had a very big void within me. I had many sicknesses like piles and asthma, and I got healed in the church, and that is when I realized that God is real. I gave my life to God, and now I am free from all my addictions. I am no longer violent, and I have peace inside of me because God's Spirit lives within me. Before, my wife would persuade me to come to church, but now I come to church to serve my God willingly and gladly.

Today, my family is blessed, there is peace in our home, I am a loving husband, a devoted father, and an upright citizen. And God has been blessing every aspect of our lives, and I can testify to others how God has changed me and how God can change their life.
