the Bible Study of The Kingdom of God

Many people talk about faith, miracles, and blessings. However, few understand one of the most important topics taught by the Lord Jesus: the Kingdom of God.

In order to deepen this understanding, a special study on the Kingdom of God will begin this Wednesday (18). The meeting will take place at all the temples of the Universal Church in the World.

During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity to understand, in a clear and biblical way, what it means to be part of this Kingdom and how to live according to the principles established by God.

What is, in fact, the Kingdom of God?

As Bishop Macedo explained, many people confuse the Kingdom of God with the Kingdom of Heaven. However, he emphasizes that, although they are often treated as equals, there is an important difference between the two concepts.

"This Wednesday, we will be teaching people the difference between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven," he explained.

According to him, entering the Kingdom of God means submitting one's life to the will of the Lord. In other words, it is allowing God to reign over thoughts, decisions, and attitudes.

"When a person enters the Kingdom of God, they submit to the Word of God. That is to say, they begin to align their thoughts and desires with His will," he stated.

Seek first the Kingdom

The study will also address a well-known teaching from the Gospel, recorded in Matthew chapter 6, when the Lord Jesus instructs:

“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

As explained, many people are familiar with this passage but do not always understand what it means in practice.

This is because seeking the Kingdom of God is not limited to words or feelings. In fact, it involves a change in mindset and behavior.

“Seeking first the Kingdom of God means allowing God to reign in our lives, directing our thoughts so that we live according to His will,” he emphasized.

Learning to Live According to the Word

Another point emphasized is that living in the Kingdom of God involves learning to practice biblical teachings in daily life.

Among these are principles such as forgiving, loving one’s neighbor, acting with sincerity, and doing good without seeking human recognition.

“Those who live under the Kingdom of God learn to do good sincerely, without expecting praise or recognition from people,” he explained.

According to him, when someone aligns with the Word of God, they begin to act differently from the standards of this world, prioritizing what pleases the Lord.

An Open Invitation to All

Therefore, the study that begins this Wednesday aims to help each person understand their place before God and assess whether they are truly living according to the principles of the Kingdom.

“Do you want to learn what it means to live in the Kingdom of God? Then come participate. It is in the church that we learn to live according to the Word of God,” invited the Bishop.

Those who wish to better understand this theme can attend the nearest Universal Church and join the beginning of this special study on the Kingdom of God. Watch bishop Macedo's message to understand more:
