The Blessing of the Mothers and Children.

There is no bond quite as powerful as the one between a mother and her children. She is the one who nurtured us, guided us, and made countless sacrifices so we could grow into the people we are today. Some mothers are gentle and soft-spoken, others firm and disciplined—but each one loves in her own unique and unwavering way. We may not choose our mother, yet in our hearts, we know we have been given the very best. And for that, we love her deeply.

As Mother’s Day draws near, many begin searching for the perfect gift—something that can truly express their gratitude and love. But what gift could ever compare to something eternal? What could be more meaningful than offering her the blessing of God?

“Let your father and your mother be glad, and let her who bore you rejoice.” (Proverbs 23:25)

Mother’s Day should not be the only time we show appreciation, but it is a beautiful opportunity to do something special—something different. This year, why not go beyond the usual and invite her to receive a heartfelt prayer during our Sunday morning service?
